Does anyone want to win the NFC South?
Entering Week 10, the NFC South is the only division in the NFL where all four teams are under .500. The Falcons, though, have an opportunity to reach that mark on Thursday night when they take on the Panthers.
Falcons vs. Panthers live updates, highlights
The Panthers are hapless — after firing head coach Matt Rhule earlier in the season, the team has continued to spiral to a 2-7 record. One of their most recent defeats, a Week 8 OT loss to the Falcons, was the stuff of bad game legend.
Now, the Falcons have an opportunity to hand Carolina a season series sweep in Charlotte on Thursday night. Arthur Smith's squad has alternated wins and losses heading back to Week 4, and all but one of their losses this year have come at a one-score deficit.

Could that mean another close game is in store for them on Thursday night? Well, given the latest run of "TNF" stinkers, we hope that should be the case.
