Taylor Swift got her shine early in the day on conference championship Sunday. Travis Kelce and the Chiefs took out the Ravens in the AFC championship, allowing the tight end and his music superstar girlfriend to share a kiss on the field after Kansas City punched its ticket back to the Super Bowl.
Sunday night? That was time for the Real Slim Shady to stand up.
The Lions squared off against the 49ers in Santa Clara in the NFC championship, with a spot in Super Bowl 58 on the line. The Detroit faithful traveled well, as the crowd at Levi's Stadium had plenty of cheering for the squad sporting the Honolulu blue.
While there were plenty pulling for Dan Campbell's unit, one of Detroit's most diehard fans was also in attendance — Eminem.
The world-famous rapper has bled blue dating back to his childhood days when he grew up as a teenager just outside of Motor City. He joins other A-list celebrities such as Taylor Lautner, Kid Rock, and Tim Allen in their shared NFL fandom.
Like Campbell's team, the Lions fans are known for their blue-collar, gritty mindset. So, it wasn't a total surprise to see Eminem's inner Detroit self come out while surrounded by 49ers fans on Sunday night.

The old saying goes, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."
While Eminem did not verbally say anything derogatory to the San Francisco crowd, the rapper let his hands — well, his finger — do the talking.

There have not been any videos posted of the incident, so it is unclear what caused the 15-time Grammy winner to put up a middle finger and let it linger.

If the Lions would have pulled out a win over the 49ers it would also set up a mega crossover between the football and music world. But alas, fate would not have it work out that way, as Detroit was denied its first Super Bowl appearance, losing to San Francisco in the NFC Championship.
Eminem posted a thank you to the Lions on X, formerly Twitter, giving the team its proper due after a successful 2023 campaign.
