Nelson Agholor reached out to the fan who helped save children's lives in an overnight West Philadelphia fire.

"Thank you for being a hero in the community, would like to invite you and your family to the next home game," Agholor wrote. "Twitter help me out and get me in touch with him."

Hakim Laws, who helped evacuate children from an apartment fire after the family was trapped inside of the building, took a jab at the wide receiver during an interview on a local news station.

Laws described the scene of him and others catching babies being thrown out of the burning building.

“My man just started throwing babies out the window, we was catching ’em … unlike Agholor,” he said as he looked straight into the camera.

The interview was hours after the Eagles dropped their Week 3 matchup with the Lions, 27-24, and with it a lot of passes.

It gained attention on social media and eventually caught the eye of Agholor.

The fifth-year receiver, who has spent his entire career in Philadelphia after being selected with the 20th overall pick in the 2015 draft, had a fumble and dropped two of the seven total lost passes Sunday.

After the game, coach Doug Pederson still expressed trust in the players.

"We have trust in our players," he said. "Defense had some nice stops late in this game, obviously, we had the blocked field goal for an opportunity there. So, yeah a lot of trust in our guys, and we just have to execute a little better.”
