After an 0-2 start, the Dolphins don't have much else to lose.
According to NFL Media, Dolphins coach Brian Flores made the decision Thursday to bench veteran quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick and instead start Josh Rosen against the Cowboys in Week 3.
Miami traded for the second-year quarterback in April on the second day of the NFL Draft after Kyler Murray was taken with the No. 1 pick by the Cardinals, who drafted Rosen 10th overall the year before.

The move comes after coach Brian Flores expressed his faith in Fitzpatrick earlier this week.
"No, that’s not something that’s — Fitz is our starter," Flores told reporters. "You don’t go into one of these saying, ‘Oh, he’s going to start for this amount of games, and then we’re going to…’ That’s not how you do this.
"We feel comfortable with him as the starting quarterback. He brings the leadership, the experience, and just an overall knowledge and ability to manage and run this offense, and that’s what we are looking for. I think he will do a good job."
NFL Media added Miami padded its defense by adding defensive end Taco Charlton following his release from the Cowboys.
Fitzpatrick finished 11-of-21 passing for 89 yards and three interceptions in last Sunday's shutout against the Patriots. He was also sacked three times by New England.
The winless Dolphins are slated to visit the undefeated Cowboys at 1 p.m. ET Sunday.
