Week 2 of the NFL preseason is underway, and it's the Dolphins and the Texans that get the national TV treatment on Saturday afternoon.
Houston is hosting Miami today in the second preseason matchup for both squads. The Texans are 1-0 in the 2023 preseason, while the Dolphins are 0-1.
The Texans kicked off Week 1 with a 20-9 win over the Patriots in Foxborough. C.J. Stroud, the No. 2 overall pick from Ohio State, had a shaky debut, completing 2 of 4 passes for 13 yards while throwing an interception and running for six yards. Davis Mills and veteran Case Keenum also saw action at quarterback.
Meanwhile, the Dolphins fell 19-3 to the Falcons in their first preseason game of the season. Skylar Thompson and Mike White split quarterback duties for the Fins, but neither could find the end zone.
