The veteran wide receiver, who had been seeking a new team since the Cowboys released him in April, had just signed a one-year deal with New Orleans on Wednesday. According to ESPN.com, Bryant's deal will pay him a prorated base salary of $600,000 for the remainder of the season with an additional $500,000 in incentives possible.
Although Bryant participated in the Saints practice Friday, he had not been expected to play Sunday against the Bengals.
