WATCH: Chuck Pagano’s ‘Groundhog Day’ press conference is epic — and confusing image

The Colts aren’t playing well at 3-8, and coach Chuck Pagano is likely watching his time in Indy dwindle away. So why not immortalize yourself with a nonsensical press conference moment?

Pagano did just that Monday with a “Groundhog Day” metaphor that went off the rails and ended up in the Atlantic Ocean, sort of.

When asked if the feeling of blowing a halftime lead is starting to become a mental issue for his team, Pagano took a reference to the iconic Bill Murray film and ran with it. He started with a lovely rendition of Sonny and Cher’s “I Got You Babe” and eventually talked about how nor'easters push hurricanes off the coast and back into the ocean.

Just watch:

After a Week 12 loss to Tennessee, Indianapolis has lost three straight at home and five of six overall while blowing double-digit leads in four games. Maybe the team can turn things around before Pagano starts wandering in front of box trucks.
