Seeing Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Tyreek Hill, and Tua Tagovailoa face off in an NFL playoff game for less than $50 seems unfathomable, right?

Not when the game is being played in historically cold conditions.

The Chiefs and Dolphins are set to face off in the AFC wild-card round at Arrowhead Stadium in what is expected to be among the coldest games in NFL history.

According to The Weather Channel, Saturday's forecast calls for a high of seven degrees and a low of -9. When the game kicks off at 8 p.m. ET, the temperature is expected to be negative three degrees. Freezing winds will also play a major factor, ranging from 11 to 17 miles per hour with gusts up to 31 miles per hour.

There is currently a wild-chill and winter weather warning in Kansas City that runs through Tuesday, Jan. 16.

If you read all of that and still want to go see the defending Super Bowl champions put their title on the line, you might be crazy, but you also could do so at ridiculously affordable prices.

The cold weather is scaring off some of the Kansas City faithful, and it would be hard to believe many fans are traveling from the sun and warmth of Miami to cheer on their Dolphins on the road.

Ticket prices have reflected that with get-in rates as low as $39 (before fees) on some of the major resale markets.

On SeatGeek, you can find two seats in the 300 level for $39 before fees. On Ticketmaster, the cheapest tickets for two seats will cost you $40, with the low price being $44 on StubHub.

In comparison to the other wild-card playoff games around the league, the next-closest get-in price is the Cowboys vs. Packers game for $77 (before fees), and that is because of AT&T Stadium's "standing room only" section.

The most expensive get-in price of the weekend goes to the Lions and Ford Field at $372 (before fees), as Detroit hosts former franchise QB Matthew Stafford and the Rams in its first home playoff game since 1994.

So, in comparison, it might be worth it to bundle up and go watch Mahomes and Tagovailoa try and navigate the freezing cold to advance to the AFC divisional round. However, if you choose to sit at home by a fire and watch the game on your TV, no one will judge you for that, either.
