Melvin Gordon is standing his ground.
According to ESPN, which cited an unidentified league source, the Chargers running back doesn't plan to report for Week 1 as he considers potential trade options during his holdout.
The report noted "only a new development" would get Gordon to change his mind.
Chargers general manager Tom Telesco made it clear Sunday that Gordon’s contract extension talks have been postponed until after the season, and coach Anthony Lynn didn't address the situation with the team over the weekend.

"I didn’t tell the team anything,” Lynn said Monday, via the Daily Breeze. "Not at all. … We’ve been talking about this for a month and a half. Now it’s time to play football.
"We’ve talked about that for a long time. I’m just ready to move on — we’re playing games."
Added Lynn: "I’m focused on the guys that we have here. They’ve been playing pretty good football, so no, I’m not frustrated at all."
Gordon, 26, has been seeking an extension or a move away from the Chargers and the team recently gave him permission to seek a trade elsewhere. However, he'll have to play under his fifth-year option, which is worth $5.605 million.
Gordon told ESPN last month he is staying ready to play by training "rigorously" in California.
"Just waiting on the call," said Gordon, who is reportedly prepared to sit out all of 2019 if the two sides can't come to an agreement.
Initially selected out of Wisconsin with the No. 15 pick in the 2015 draft, Gordon has rushed for 3,628 yards and 38 total touchdowns during his four-year career.
The Chargers are slated to host the Colts in their season opener at 4:05 ET Sunday.
