CeeDee Lamb displays elite hands snatching his phone from woman during NFL Draft image

CeeDee Lamb claims his quick reflexes Thursday night did not mean he had anything to hide, but amused NFL fans aren't so sure.

As the Oklahoma wide receiver learned the Cowboys had selected him at No. 17 overall in the 2020 NFL Draft, the woman sitting next to him grabbed his second phone from his hand and attempted to scroll through it. Lamb didn't let her take advantage of his diverted attention, though, quickly snatching the phone back before giving her an annoyed side-eyed look.

Lamb tried to get in front of social media speculation that the woman was his girlfriend and he was shielding information from her.

"y’all really gotta chill wasn’t even like dat," Lamb wrote on Twitter.

Lamb did not explain his account of the event, though he obviously doesn't owe random people cracking jokes an explanation.

Regardless, the Cowboys should be encouraged by the incident — had other teams known how fast his hands could move, perhaps he would have been the first receiver taken off the board. Quarterback Dak Prescott will be targeting those hands often in the coming years, and it's good for him to know they can be relied upon in high-pressure situations.

Here are some of the responses to Lamb's draft night moment:
