The last time we saw an NFL game on CBS, the Chiefs walked off on the 49ers to win Super Bowl 58 with Jim Nantz and Tony Romo on the call.

Now, the NFL on CBS is back for the 2024 season.

Romo and Nantz are the headliners for CBS’s broadcast teams as usual, but there’s a lot more to know about who will be on the network’s NFL broadcasts this season.

The Sporting News fills you in on CBS’s NFL crew for the 2024 season, which brings back a lot of familiar faces.

Who will be calling NFL games for CBS?

Coming off their Super Bowl call in February, Nantz, Romo, and the lead CBS sideline reporter, Wolfson, are CBS’s top crew in 2024.

Since making his broadcasting debut in 2017, Romo has become a hot commodity in the NFL broadcasting world, later signing a massive 10-year contract with CBS in 2020.

Eagle — also well-known for his NBA play-by-play — will once again be joined by Davis and Washburn for another season. Eagle’s son, Noah, just wrapped up play-by-play coverage of men’s basketball in the Olympics and will call the Eagles-Packers Week 1 game in Brazil for Peacock.

The third team remains the same, as well, with Harlan leading the way on play-by-play.

The biggest change in CBS’s broadcast teams came on Catalon’s crew, as former Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan is transitioning into a studio role with the network.

In his absence, Catalon will be alongside Barber, McCourty, and Ross. The last two teams remain the same, with Dedes and McCarthy on play-by-play.
