It was all Steelers at Heinz Field on Thursday Night Football.

The Steelers improve to 6-2-1 and continue their winning streak, which is now at five games. The Panthers fall to 6-3.

Ben Roethlisberger had as good of a game as a quarterback can have. The 36-year old went 22 of 25 for 328 yards, 5 touchdowns and a perfect quarterback ranking of 158.3.

The Steelers recorded the most points ever at Heinz Field. They had help from multiple play ma​kers, with touchdowns from Juju Smith-Schuster, James Connor, Jesse James, Vance McDonald, Antonio Brown, Jaylen Samuels and Vince Williams on defense. 

Pittsburgh was dominant on all sides of the ball, getting to Panthers quarterback Cam Newton, forcing an interception and a fumble in the first half and forcing a fumble on special teams at the end of the third quarter.

Cam Newton threw for 193 yards going 23 of 29 with two touchdowns and one interception. Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey recorded a hat trick, with two receiving and one rushing touchdown, but was the only Carolina player to reach the end zone all game.

10:48 p.m.:  Ben Roethlisberger sits out the rest of the game. Joshua Dobbs comes in as quarterback for the Steelers. 

10:41 p.m.:  James Connor heads into the locker room after an apparent injury. 

10:37 p.m.: TOUCHDOWN, Steelers.  Jaylen Samuels records his first touchdown of the year. The extra point is good.  Steelers 52, Panthers 14.

THIRD QUARTER:

10:32 p.m.: FUMBLE.  Panthers wide receiver Curtis Samuel fumbles the kickoff. The Steelers recover on the 9-yard-line. 

10:27 p.m.: TOUCHDOWN, Steelers.  The Steelers are on the board again, this time from a Jesse James 8-yard receiving touchdown.  Steelers 45, Panthers 14. 

10:24:  Ben Roethlisberger takes it himself and gets the first down and more. A personal foul, unnecessary roughness penalty on Eric Reid moves the Steelers half the distance to the goal and results in a Reid ejection. 

10:09 p.m. TOUCHDOWN, Steelers.  Ben Roethlisberger connects with Vance McDonald for 12 yards and a touchdown.  Steelers 38, Panthers 14. 

10:03 p.m.:  James Connor goes 13 yards to get into Panthers territory.

9:39 p.m.: FUMBLE. Panthers quarterback Cam Newton is sacked and Steelers T.J. Watt forces a fumble. Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey recovers. 

9:32 p.m.: TOUCHDOWN, Steelers. Ben Roesthlisberger finds Antonio Brown for 53 yards and a touchdown. The extra point is good.  Steelers 31, Panthers 14.

8:38 p.m.: TOUCHDOWN, Steelers.  Cam Newton throws a pick-6 while being taken down in his own end zone. Vince Williams intercepts the pass and takes it 17 yards to score. The extra point is good.  Steelers 14, Panthers 7.
