Former Seahawks and Patriots cornerback Brandon Browner was arrested Monday night near Los Angeles and charged with suspicion of making criminal threats, police confirmed to the San Gabriel Valley Tribune.
Online records show the 33-year-old was arrested on the felony charge Monday at 8:29 p.m. in La Verne, Calif., and released from jail at 11:11 p.m. after posting bond on a $50,000 bail.

Browner last played in the NFL in 2015 with the Saints after winning Super Bowls the previous two seasons with the Patriots and Seahawks. He had been a key piece in Seattle's renowned "Legion of Boom" secondary, making the Pro Bowl in 2011 after three consecutive years as a CFL All-Star for the Calgary Stampeders.
Browner re-signed with the Seahawks in April 2016 but was released before the season.
