Two years ago, Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey had never kicked in a professional football game. Now, he is establishing himself as one of the most accurate kickers in the NFL.
Aubrey put on a display once again in Dallas' 33-13 romp over the Eagles in Week 14. He made all seven of his kicks, and that included a whopping four field goals.
Impressively, Aubrey's first make came from 60 yards away. It set a new career-high for the 28-year-old rookie and pushed Dallas' lead to 10-0 at a time when many believed the Cowboys would punt.

As the game went on, Aubrey continued to make kicks from long distance. He made three for 50-plus yards including one that traveled 59 yards through the air.

By making that boot, Aubrey became the first kicker in NFL history to make multiple attempts from 59 yards or longer in the same game. That helped the Cowboys to gradually extend their lead over the Eagles and eventually finish them off.
Aubrey's rise has been a whirlwind, as he first kicked professionally with the USFL's Birmingham Stallions in 2022. He was asked about that meteoric rise on NBC's postgame broadcast by Melissa Stark.
"If we had told you a couple of years ago you'd be here right now, what would you say?" she asked."
"I would not believe you," he replied.
But Aubrey is here and continues to make history each time he takes the field. Here's what to know about his stats against the Eagles and for the 2023 NFL season to date.

Brandon Aubrey stats
Against the Eagles, Aubrey made all four of his field goal attempts and converted on the three extra point attempts he had as well. In total, he posted 15 points for the Cowboys, two more than the Eagles logged as a team.
Aubrey's field goals came from 45, 50, 59 and 60 yards. He became the first player in NFL history to make multiple kicks from 59-plus yards in a single game, and he improved his overall mark on kicks of 50-plus yards on the season to 8 for 8.
Overall, Aubrey has now made an NFL record 30 consecutive field goals to begin his career; that has shattered the previous high-water mark of 18 by Travis Coons in 2015. And even more impressively, Aubrey's streak is still ongoing through Week 14 of the 2023 NFL season.
Below is a look at Aubrey's overall stats from his debut campaign.

Brandon Aubrey salary
Aubrey's consistency has been a boon for the Cowboys. So too has been his minuscule cost.
Aubrey is making just a $750,000 base salary for the Cowboys in 2023. That came as part of a three-year contract worth just under $2.7 million that Aubrey signed with Dallas after his second season in the USFL.
Aubrey's average annual value of $898,333 ranks as the second-cheapest kicker contract in the league among players on 53-man rosters, per OverTheCap.com. Only second-year Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker ($870,000) is cheaper.
As long as Aubrey continues to make his field goals consistently, he will be a tremendous bargain for the Cowboys, and he could prove crucial in helping them achieve their ultimate goal of mounting a Super Bowl run.
