Best Jaguars-Chiefs prop bets Week 2: Calvin Ridley, Patrick Mahomes highlight top parlay picks image

Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars aim to secure their second win of the early season as they host the reigning Super Bowl champion Chiefs on Sunday afternoon (1:00 p.m. ET, CBS). Kansas City's determined to avoid an uncharacteristic 0-2 start, with Andy Reid's team pinning their hopes on the return of Travis Kelce and Chris Jones to provide the spark that was missing in Week 1.

Looking to cook up a parlay on SuperDraft for Sunday's highly anticipated matchup? We're here to guide you in the right direction. SuperDraft users can win 3X the amount wagered if their two-legged player prop parlay hits. Consequently, the more legs you add to your player prop parlay, the larger your potential payout becomes, but as the long odds indicate, completing a clean sweep is challenging.

Below, we'll break down four of our favorite SuperDraft player props for Sunday's Jaguars-Chiefs bout. Users don't necessarily have to parlay all four picks together, though. Instead, you could make separate multi-leg parlays to increase your win probability or attempt to hit it big if all three picks come through.

Best Jaguars-Chiefs prop bets: SuperDraft player prop picks for Week 2

*10x potential payout if users parlay all four correct picks

1. Calvin Ridley, WR, Jaguars — OVER 70.5 receiving yards

Ridley's going to be a popular OVER play this week, and while that sets up a contrarian opportunity with this line slightly inflated, we can't stomach betting the UNDER on Jacksonville's WR1 in a projected high-scoring contest. Ridley saw a team-high 11 targets on 34 routes and has a real shot to end the regular season top five among WRs in target share.

Ridley garnered the seventh-highest target share in Week 1 (34.4 percent) while running a route on every one of Jacksonville's passing plays. Another double-digit target day puts him in a solid spot to record 71-plus receiving yards.

2. Patrick Mahomes, QB, Chiefs — OVER 298.5 passing yards

Mahomes racked up just 226 passing yards in Week 1, but could have easily reached the 300-yard mark had his wideouts not let him down. Travis Kelce's (knee) likely return should result in a more Chiefs-like offensive showing, helping Mahomes move the sticks and reach his passing yardage prop of 298.5.

Furthermore, new SuperDraft users can take advantage of the Mahomes "free square", reducing his passing yardage prop to just 0.5 (max bet $25).

3. Trevor Lawrence, QB, Jaguars — OVER 253.5 passing yards

Since we expect a high-scoring, offensive-centric contest, we like Lawrence to surpass his passing yardage prop of 253.5 yards. In Week 1, Lawrence managed 241 passing yards on 32 attempts. However, facing the Chiefs, whose potent offense is likely to put scoreboard pressure on the Jaguars, we expect Lawrence to throw the ball close to 40-plus times.

While Kansas City's coverage unit performed decently in Week 1, it still ranks below the league average in dropback EPA (0.070; 22nd). We have confidence Doug Pederson's offense will hold up its end, leading to Lawrence exceeding his passing yardage prop.

4.  Evan Engram, TE, Jaguars — OVER 40.5 receiving yards

We're riding the OVER train in this one, also backing Engram to surpass his yardage prop of 40.5. Engram saw five targets in Week 1, but as we mentioned above, we anticipate the Jaguars passing at a high clip, potentially resulting in their TE1 seeing seven or more targets this week. Although he typically has a low average depth of target (aDOT), totaling 5.2 yards in Week 1 (18th among TEs), he excels in run-after-catch situations. Therefore, reaching 41-plus receiving yards is well within his capabilities.
