Ben Roethlisberger was seen shaking his throwing arm at various points during the first half of Sunday's home opener and even exited to the locker room before returning to the sideline to play through the injury.
But the pain appears to have caught up with him.
The Steelers quarterback is questionable to return against the Seahawks with a right elbow injury, the team announced, adding backup Mason Rudolph would start the second half.

But things got off to a rought start for Rudolph as he was quickly picked off, though the error falls to wide receiver Donte Moncrief for tipping the pass.

The Steelers eventually fell to the Seahawks, 28-26.
It was later reported that Roethlisberger is scheduled to have an MRI exam Monday for further evaluation.
