Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky had it working in the first half of Sunday's game against the Buccaneers.
Trubisky, who had been struggling this season, threw five touchdowns in the first half. He completed 14-of-18 passes for 289 yards, becoming the first Bears quarterback in the Super Bowl era with five touchdowns in a single game. The last Bears quarterback to throw five touchdowns in a game was Johnny Lujack in 1949 (6).

Spreading the ball around, Trubisky's touchdowns came to five different receivers, starting with tight end Trey Burton. The Bears are working to improve to 3-1 this season.
Not only was Trubisky feeling it, new linebacker Kahlil Mack continued his dominance, again recording a sack and a fumble. Mack became the first player with a sack and forced fumble in four straight games since Robert Mathis in 2005.
The Bears lead the Bucs 38-3 at halftime.
