“We look forward to seeing the Xenith Shadow worn by football athletes at all levels of play this fall,” the company said today.
It's unclear why the company decided to end its relationship with Brown, but the decision comes days after the wide receiver was accused of rape and sexual assault in a civil suit.
Now we'll see what this means for Brown because he has had highly publicized issues with his helmet this offseason.
Brown filed two separate grievances with the NFL in hopes of using his old helmet which was taken off the league's approved list this season.
The wide receiver was documented struggling to find new headgear in HBO's "Hard Knocks."
Several made the assumption Brown actually went through his process of finding a helmet in hopes of getting a sponsorship with a new company.
Xenith gave Brown an endorsement deal on Sept. 6.
Now we'll see if this affects Brown's playing time this weekend as the Patriots have still not announced whether the wide receiver will play against the Dolphins on Sunday.
