Several NFL teams have expressed interest in Antonio Brown, his agent said Saturday.

Drew Rosenhaus told ESPN he's already had conversations "with a few teams that are interested" in the wide receiver. But those teams "want information regarding his legal situation and the NFL investigation" and any potential deal is not likely to happen until those issues are resolved.

The Patriots released Brown Friday after learning an attorney representing a woman who has accused Brown of sexual misconduct contacted the NFL. The attorney claimed Brown had allegedly sent the woman “intimidating” texts earlier in the week. Brown already faces a lawsuit alleging he sexually assaulted his former trainer three times over a two-year period. Brown has denied those allegations, which include an alleged rape, through his attorney.

The NFL issued a statement Friday declaring Brown an "unrestricted free agent."

“Our office is presently investigating multiple allegations, some of which are the subject of pending litigation” the NFL statement said. “We have as yet made no findings regarding these issues. The investigation is ongoing and will be pursued vigorously and expeditiously."

According to NFL Media, the league met with Brown's second accuser on Friday after interviewing his first accuser, Britney Taylor, earlier in the week.

The statement also noted, “As long as Mr. Brown is a free agent, placement on the Commissioner’s exempt list is not appropriate. If he is signed by a club, such placement may become appropriate at any time depending on the status of the investigation."

The 31-year-old Brown, a seven-time Pro Bowl selection, had seemingly found a home with the Patriots after signing with the team Sept. 9. After practicing only two days with the Pats, he played last Sunday against the Dolphins and caught four passes for 56 yards and a touchdown.

However, Patriots team owner Robert Kraft was reportedly "enraged" Friday when he learned Brown had allegedly sent those threatening texts. He and coach Bill Belichick talked and "decided together" to cut Brown, according to The Athletic.
