The Cardinals' lineup, and those of many fantasy owners, likely will be without running back Adrian Peterson in Week 14.

Peterson’s neck injury suffered two weeks ago against Jacksonville won’t require surgery, but will keep him off the field Sunday when Arizona hosts the Titans, ESPN.com reported.

Kerwynn Williams, who played well last week with 97 yards on 16 carries against the Rams, will continue to carry the load in Arizona’s backfield.

“You want to do whatever you can to help the team win,” Williams said after Wednesday’s practice (via the team’s website). “I know my opportunities are few and far between to begin with, but I never think of it selfishly that way. I’m more about helping my teammates the best I can.”

Kickoff between the Cardinals and Titans is scheduled for 4:05 p.m. ET on Sunday.
