Brock Purdy's fairytale ride shows no signs of slowing down.
The rookie seventh-round quarterback led the 49ers to a 21-13 win over the Seahawks on "Thursday Night Football," helping to clinch the NFC West for San Francisco in the process.
MORE: How San Francisco can finish with the top seed in the NFC
It moved "Mr. Irrelevant" in the 2022 NFL Draft to 2-0 as an NFL starter. He looked just as poised and comfortable as he did on Sunday against the Buccaneers, finishing 17 for 26 for 217 yards with two touchdowns, no interceptions and a 117.0 passer rating.
But Purdy didn't win this game on his own. Christian McCaffrey was outstanding, finishing with 138 total yards a touchdown on 32 touches.
San Francisco's defense also turned in another monstrous performance. The team's pass rush, led by NFL sack leader Nick Bosa, terrorized Geno Smith the entire night.
MORE: How Purdy's double-fake TD pass to George Kittle was inspired by Bill Walsh's 49ers of old
The victory not only punched the Niners' ticket to the 2022 postseason, it also extended their winning streak to seven games and improved their record to 10-4.
The Seahawks (7-7) had opportunities, but atrocious offensive line play in the face of that pass rush prevented them from pulling off a comeback. The loss is another big blow to their playoff hopes, and they find themselves on the outside looking in heading into the final three weeks of the regular season.

49ers vs. Seahawks live updates, highlights from 'Thursday Night Football'
(All times Eastern.)
11:15 p.m. FINAL — Mason ends this game in style! He breaks free on 3rd down and nearly takes it all the way to the house, but gets pushed out at the 1-yard line. Purdy kneels it out, and this game is over. The 49ers are the 2022 NFC West champions!

11:13 p.m. TWO-MINUTE WARNING — With no timeouts left for Seattle, one more first down will officially secure the win for San Francisco. A Jordan Mason run picks up 6 yards on 1st down and takes us into the two-minute warning.
11:10 p.m. — Purdy drops back, rolls right and slides down just past the line to gain! That will move the chains. Pete Carroll is actually going to challenge this, arguing that he began the slide short of the marker. However, the ball was clearly past it. Seattle loses the challenge, and with it loses its final timeout.
11:09 p.m. — As expected, the 49ers will try and work the clock. After two McCaffrey carries up the middle, San Francisco faces a 3rd and 2 to try and seal the win — and the division crown.
49ers 21, Seahawks 13
11:05 p.m. TOUCHDOWN — Just like that, this is a one-possession game! Geno finds Noah Fant wide open for the score! All it took was two plays to get from almost midfield into the end zone. The Seahawks still have two timeouts and the two-minute warning to work with, so they should still be able to kick this deep and get it back with a defensive stop.

11:04 p.m. — As the clock ticks under 4 minutes, Walker picks up a huge gain of 34 yards on a crossing route to move Seattle into the red zone! This isn't over just yet.
10:58 p.m. TURNOVER ON DOWNS — Well, that keeps the Seahawks in this game! Brandon Aiyuk dropped a pass that hit him right in the chest on 3rd and 6, and Robbie Gould's kick from 43 yards drifts wide right. With 5 minutes left on the clock, Seattle still needs two touchdowns.
10:57 p.m. — Purdy fakes the handoff on 2nd and 6 and tosses downfield for tight end Tyler Kroft, who rumbled for a gain of almost 30 yards. The Niners are already in field goal range, and they could make it a three-score game with any points here.

10:55 p.m. — Welcome back to The Christian McCaffrey Show. He gets three straight handoffs to pick up a first down. The Niners are looking to bleed as much clock as possible here.
10:48 p.m. — Geno gets swarmed by defenders once again on 1st down. He got rid of it, but he wasn't outside of the pocket so it draws an intentional grounding penalty. After an incompletion brings up 3rd and 23, a shovel pass to Homer comes up way short of the marker. This will be a punt. Seattle's offensive line is getting absolutely shredded right now, and it's making it impossible to do anything with the ball.
10:46 p.m. — The challenge is indeed successful. It doesn't really change much, though. San Francisco will still be punting it away. The Seahawks will get good field position here.
10:41 p.m. — San Francisco's Trent Williams commits a rare mistake after being flagged for a false start on 3rd and 10. Purdy tries to make something happen on the following play, but his pass to McCloud comes up way short of the marker. Actually, it may not have been a completion at all. Pete Carroll will challenge the catch, and it looks like he might win this one.
10:39 p.m. — On 3rd and 7, Purdy delivers another strike to Jauan Jennings for a pivotal first down gain! This Seahawks defense is having a hard time getting off the field in important situations tonight. Purdy, however, continues to impress.
10:34 p.m. — After all that, the catch stands and it's 3rd and 4. Geno drops back, but the San Francisco pass rush gets to him yet again and drops him for its 4th sack of the night. Another promising Seattle drive stalls out. Michael Dickson comes on for the punt, and he does a nice job pinning the Niners very close to their own goal line.
10:32 p.m. — Geno throws a pass short right to Marquise Goodwin, who appeared to make the catch for a gain of about 6. The officials first ruled it incomplete, then changed the call on the field to a completion. Now, Kyle Shanahan is challenging the catch. One way or another, the officials will get to the bottom of this.
10:29 p.m. — The final quarter starts with a nice run by Walker to pick up 15 yards and move the ball across midfield. He's got some wheels.
End of third quarter: 49ers 21, Seahawks 6
10:24 p.m. — On 3rd and 2, a deluge of penalty flags comes in. Somehow, the 49ers committed three penalties on a single play. However, all three were declined because Homer made a catch to pick up 11 yards. Don't know if I've ever seen that before!
10:18 p.m. — On 3rd and 5 from inside Seahawks territory, Purdy can't connect with McCloud and it'll be 4th down. It's just a little too far to attempt a field goal, so Shanahan will punt it. It's a good punt, too. Seattle will have to start the drive inside their own 5-yard line.
10:14 p.m. — Purdy gets sacked by Quinton Jefferson to bring up 3rd and 15. Purdy dumps it off to RayRay McCloud, who turns on the jets to gain 16 yards and move the chains! That's a back-breaker for Seattle.
49ers 21, Seahawks 6
10:09 FIELD GOAL — A pass to Metcalf on 3rd and 32 comes up well short, so Myers trots on and proceeds to knock through his second field goal of the night. Field goals aren't gonna do it for Seattle anymore, though. They need to find the end zone.
10:07 p.m. — A holding penalty on Abraham Lucas wipes out an amazing catch by Dareke Young that would have put the ball on the 2-yard line. On the next play, Geno is sacked for a huge loss by Bosa. That sums up the night pretty well for this offense.

10:05 p.m. — Lockett comes up with a grab on 3rd and 4 to move the Seahawks close to the edge of the red zone. That's only the second 3rd down conversion all night for Seattle.
10:02 p.m. — Huge break for Seattle. It appeared Geno threw a pick-six on 3rd and 8, but a roughing the passer call on Nick Bosa erases it and gives the Seahawks a free first down. That was a bit of a borderline call, but we see more and more of those roughing the passer flags each week it seems.
9:59 p.m. — The Seahawks' effort simply hasn't been good enough tonight in a game they really need to win. They have a mountain to climb at this point.
49ers 21, Seahawks 3
9:56 p.m. TOUCHDOWN — Well, that was easy! Purdy finds Kittle wide open (again) down the left sideline, and the big tight end does the rest! The Seahawks couldn't possibly have started this half any worse! That's a 54 yard house call!

9:55 p.m. START OF SECOND HALF — The Niners receive the kickoff to start the second half.
9:40 p.m. — That turnover and 49ers score to end the half really shifted the momentum of this game. But make no mistake, that was a really poor half by the Seahawks offensively. Let's see if they can figure something out in the second half.
End of first half: 49ers 14, Seahawks 3
9:38 p.m. — With 21 seconds left in the half, Seattle has the ball at its own 36 and one timeout. But on 3rd and 4, Geno throws it short of the sticks to Walker and he can't even pick up the first down. Another wasted possession.
49ers 14, Seahawks 3
9:34 p.m. TOUCHDOWN — Who else? Of course it's McCaffrey, plowing ahead to pick up his 11th TD of the season! What a brutal turn of events for the Seahawks just before halftime. Still, they have 41 seconds to try and make something happen here.

9:31 p.m. FUMBLE — HUGE play! Homer makes a catch over the middle, but the ball gets knocked out of his hands and it's scooped up by Charvarius Ward! He returns it all the way down to the Seahawks 7-yard line, and the 49ers have a golden opportunity to extend their lead before halftime!

9:28 p.m. — Purdy makes one of his first mistakes of the night, and it nearly results in a pick. His pass hit Quandre Diggs right in the chest, but the defender couldn't hold on. Still, the Seahawks will get the ball back for a two-minute drill as San Francisco prepares to punt it away.
9:24 p.m. TWO-MINUTE WARNING — McCaffrey just keeps getting it done. He plows forward to convert on 3rd and 1 and bring his tally up to 82 total yards on the night. After he makes another catch, this time for a loss, it's 3rd and 11 for the Niners as we head into the two-minute warning.
49ers 7, Seahawks 3
9:18 p.m. FIELD GOAL — Jason Myers gets the home team on the board from 38 yards out.
9:17 p.m. — After a shot to the end zone gets deflected for an incompletion, it brings up 3rd and 8. Geno drops back, but his offensive line disintegrates and he's forced to throw it into the dirt. Seattle will have to settle for a field goal try.
9:14 p.m. — A false start by Lockett sets up a 3rd and 13 for Seattle. Geno drops back to pass, but sees nothing but daylight in front of him. He tucks and runs for an 18 yard gain to move the chains. Big play there by the veteran QB.
9:10 p.m. — Metcalf makes his first catch of the night to finally give Seattle's offense a first down. Smith goes right back to him on the next play to pick up 13 more yards and move the Seahawks to their own 46-yard line.
9:06 p.m. — Purdy finally misses on a short pass to McCaffrey to ruin his perfect night and bring up 3rd and 9. He drops back and fires one right to Aiyuk, but they weren't on the same page and it'll bring up 4th down and another punt.

9:03 p.m. — Purdy is still Pur-fect on the night (sorry). Another completion for the rookie, this time to Brandon Aiyuk, gives San Francisco a first down near midfield.
8:58 p.m. — A pass for Metcalf gets broken up on 1st down, then a run by Walker sets up 3rd and 5. Smith tosses short right to Travis Homer, but he's stopped short of the marker. After the play, Metcalf got flagged for taunting to turn a 4th and 1 into 4th and 16. Another abysmal possession for the Seahawks ends with a punt.
8:55 p.m. — Kyle Shanahan plays it safe and opts to punt it away. The Seahawks have the ball back at their own 25-yard line.
End of first quarter: 49ers 7, Seahawks 0
8:49 p.m. — An offensive holding penalty on 3rd down moves the 49ers back and brings up 3rd and 16. Purdy drops back and tosses short to McCaffrey, but he's dragged down well short of the line to gain. On 4th and 7, the Niners hustle up to the line as the quarter winds down to try and get Seattle to jump offside — and it works. They got Darrell Taylor to jump. Very sloppy penalty, but it will remain 4th and 2 when the second quarter begins.
8:45 p.m. — Geno goes back to work, but on 2nd and 7 he gets rocked by Talanoa Hufanga and coughs up the football! One of his offensive linemen is able to pounce on it to keep possession, but on 3rd and a mile his pass falls incomplete. This has been a very rough start for the Seattle offense.
49ers 7, Seahawks 0
8:41 p.m. TOUCHDOWN — Wow, fantastic play design by Shanahan! Purdy pumps once, pumps twice then throws over the middle to a wide open George Kittle, who streaks into the end zone to open the scoring! How about 6 of 6, 60 yards and a touchdown so far for Purdy?

8:38 p.m. — On 3rd and 3, Purdy throws a strike to Jauan Jennings for a first down. He's 5 of 5 so far on the night as the Niners creep towards the red zone.
8:35 p.m. — Seattle nose tackle Bryan Mone is down on the field with an injury. The team's defensive line is already depleted, so this is not good news for the Seahawks. Mone limps off with the help of two trainers, doesn't look good for the big man.
8:33 p.m. — Kyle Shanahan is feeding McCaffrey early and often. He bursts up the middle for a big chunk play, gaining 23 yards.

8:28 p.m. — Geno is already running for his life behind this struggling Seattle offensive line. He's forced to throw it in the dirt on 1st down, then Walker loses a few yards on 2nd. Facing 3rd and 12, Smith checks down to tight end Noah Fant, who comes up well short of the marker. Another punt upcoming.
8:22 p.m. — Here comes Brock Purdy, "Mr. Irrelevant" from this year's draft. He'll throw it and complete it on 2nd down to George Kittle for a short gain, but it brings up 3rd and 5. Purdy drops back and tosses right to McCaffrey, but the running back gets dragged down just shy of the marker. The 49ers will punt it right back.
8:19 p.m. — But after a throw to Walker gets blown up, a pair of incompletions brings up 4th and long. Smith faced a lot of pressure on that 3rd down play and had to throw more quickly than he would liked. Seattle will punt it away.
8:17 p.m. — A run by Kenneth Walker gains 5 yards on the first play of the game, then Geno Smith finds Tyler Lockett through the air to pick up a first down.
8:14 p.m. — We're all set for this massive NFC West clash. The Seahawks will receive the kickoff and get the ball first on offense.
