After an ugly meltdown, the Wisconsin Badgers are returning home to host the Purdue Boilermakers in Week 6 of the college football season.
The Badgers were not happy leaving Southern California last weekend after a 38-21 loss to USC. Wisconsin jumped out to a 21-0 lead at halftime, and then gave it all away in the second half with mistakes that the Trojans capitalized on.
Either way, replacement quarterback Braedyn Locke had the best start of his career, going 13 of 26 for 180 passing yards and one touchdown.
The Boilermakers are coming off of a 28-10 home loss to Nebraska. While it started slow, staying scoreless for 30 minutes, the floodgates were opened once the Huskers scored. Purdue's defense held on for some miraculous plays — with, not one, but two blocked field goals — but were ultimately unable to compete.
