The first set of rankings were released on Oct. 30, and we've already seen one team (LSU) drop out of the top four. It'll be interesting to see how each week affects the rankings, especially as each game takes on more and more importance as the season wears on.

When are the College Football Playoff rankings released?
The next set of rankings will be released on Tuesday, Nov. 20 on ESPN. It will be the fourth of six rankings to be released, the last of which will be on Selection Day on: The final pairings in the Playoff.

ESPN televises the College Football Playoff rankings on its family of networks, but times are flexible throughout the process. Check your TV listings for the right ESPN channel, or live stream online or via the ESPN app.

When is Selection Day for the College Football Playoff?
Selection Day is Sunday, Dec. 2, and that's when the four teams for the 2018 College Football Playoff semifinals will be selected.
