Western Michigan managed to beat Buffalo in a seven-overtime odyssey on Saturday, but the weirdest play came in the first OT, when tight end Donnie Ernsberger caught a 14-yard touchdown pass to potentially extend the game to a second overtime.
Ernsberger’s touchdown cut Western Michigan’s deficit to 38-37. Seconds later, his sister joined the team on the sideline to celebrate — even though the game hadn't ended. The Broncos were assessed a 15-yard penalty.

But, kicker Josh Grant converted the extra point attempt, tying the score. Ernsberger’s sister was later ejected from the stadium, according to multiple reports.
Western Michigan went on to pull out a 71-68 victory. The contest was only the fourth game in FBS history to go into seven extra periods.
Regardless, it looks as if Ernsberger will be able to hold this over his sister's head for quite a while — but perhaps not as long if she had cost them the game.
