USC is reportedly hiring former Texas Tech head coach Kliff Kingsbury as its new offensive coordinator, but another report suggests he has yet to agree to a deal.
Trojan Indsider was the first to report the move and USCFootball.com later corroborated the story.

However, NFL Newtork's Ian Rappaport and The Athletic's Bruce Feldman are reporting otherwise:
Because many in the NFL have been monitoring… Spoke to a source close to Kliff Kingsbury who said Kingsbury hasn’t agreed to any deal and is still vetting both college and NFL offers. This one is still early. https://t.co/OkylCBYktt

Pump the brakes on the Kliff Kingsbury to USC talk. His agent Erik Burkhardt just told me “it’s premature to say that any decision (by Kliff) has been made.”

If the move is true, then Kingsbury would take over play-calling duties after USC fired its previous offensive coordinator, Tee Martin, on Tuesday.
Texas Tech fired Kingsbury on Nov. 25 after the Red Raiders finished with a losing record for the third straight season. Kingsbury was 35-40 over six seasons at the helm in Lubbock Texas, but his offenses regularly ranked near the top in most categories during his tenure.
Kingsbury would inherit a USC offense that's seen better days. While JT Daniels looked capable in his freshman season, the Trojans still struggled mightily on offense, finishing 92nd in points per game (26.1), 49th in passing yards per game (248.2) and 84th in total yards per game (382.6). The Red Raiders finished in the top 20 in the same three offensive categories this season under Kingsbury.
