During an interview on The Dan Le Batard Show, White shared his convincing argument and said the school is also having a parade to celebrate the season.
"There's been, by our research, 36 different years where there have been multiple champions crowned in college football," said White.
UCF finished the season 13-0 after a 34-27 Peach Bowl win over Auburn.
Following the game, White declared the Knights as national champions.

"We are national champions," said White. "Our conference is a Power Six conference."
To add even more fuel to the fire, UCF's Twitter account has changed its name to "2017 National Champions."
