South Carolina quarterback Jake Bentley showcases some excellent sportsmanship in the Gamecocks' win over Tennessee on Saturday.
The Volunteers lost 15-9 after quarterback Jarrett Guarantano threw three straight incompletions near the goal line with time waning. The freshman playcaller — who, by the way, took over for Quinten Dormady after he seemingly left the program — was obviously distraught after the game.

But that's where Bentley comes in. After the game, he saw his Tennessee counterpart sitting on the ground, head in hands. He said some kind words, helped him off the ground and sent him on his way.

Neither quarterback lit up the scoreboard (Bentley completed 15 of 24 passes for 129 yards; Guarantano finished 11 of 18, 133 yards) but what we see here is some grade-A sportsmanship. Classy move by Bentley, for sure.
