Ole Miss transfer quarterback Shea Patterson has blasted his former school, including Hugh Freeze and athletic director Ross Bjork, in a nine-page letter submitted to Michigan and the NCAA as part of his transfer appeal package.
CBS Sports was allowed to review the document, agreeing not to report details of the report due to the ongoing appeal. The letter claims Ole Miss officials "plotted" to retain him and other players by lying about the scope and severity of an NCAA investigation over the course of 20 months.

CBS Sports reports Patterson uses most of the document to detail exactly how Freeze and other officials misled him.
"It doesn't seem fair to me that the only thing standing in the way of Coach Freeze making $5 million a year at another school was the discovery that he wasn't the trustworthy, straight-laced role model that he claimed to be," Patterson reportedly said in the letter.
Freeze resigned from Ole Miss in July because of his association with an escort service. Ole Miss was hit with a two-year bowl ban and loss of 11 scholarships over four years.

Ole Miss last week objected to Patterson's waiver appeal, claiming his allegations of dishonesty on the part of the university were unfounded. That rebuke is considered the last document filing the NCAA will consider in the matter. Bjork said Ole Miss will not add any additional documentation.
"There is nothing new here," Bjork told CBS Sports. "We do not oppose the student-athlete competing right away if the decision is based on accurate information, NCAA bylaws, applicable waiver standards and relevant case precedent."
