Penn State long snapper Kyle Vasey got a nice surprise Tuesday afternoon when he learned he'd been placed on scholarship.
Head coach James Franklin, who was checking in on the team during offseason workouts, asked his players who among them was working another job in addition to being on the team.

Vasey raised his hand, and Franklin asked him about some other details. Vasey said he works 25 to 30 hours a week, with some shifts that end at 3 a.m.
"Quit," Franklin told him. "You're on full scholarship."
The exchange, as well as the emotional reaction, can be seen below.

The scholarship won't be for naught. Vasey, who is entering his senior season, started all 13 games for the Nittany Lions last year while handling all snapping duties, according to Penn State's athletics website.
