COLUMBUS, Ohio — A controversial reversal turned the momentum in the game between No. 2 Penn State and No. 6 Ohio State at Ohio Stadium on Saturday.
Penn State’s DeAndre Thompkins and Ohio State’s Denzel Ward were tangled up on a 37-yard pass to the end zone by quarterback Trace McSorley. The play was initially ruled an interception by Denzel Ward, but was overturned and ruled a TD.

That gave Penn State a 35-20 lead.
There was another controversial play earlier in the game as well when Ohio State's Damon Webb intercepted Trace McSorely in the endzone, only for the play to get called back due to interference. Buckeye fans weren't happy with the call, and the play eventually led to a Penn State touchdown.
