It appears Ole Miss football is looking to move on from coach Matt Luke after this season.
The University of Mississippi has officially posted a listing for the school's head football coach, meaning Luke's title as interim head coach will remain just that: interim.

Luke has does the best he can since taking over after Hugh Freeze was forced to resign amid a sex scandal. It even looked as if the Rebels would have a decent season after starting 2017 2-0. But a road loss to Cal and two consecutive blowouts to SEC opponents Alabama and Auburn (who beat the Rebels a combined 110-26) seems to have been the last straw for Ole Miss.
Candidates need to have a bachelor's degree and at least three years of coaching experience.
Scott Satterfield and Mark Helfrich are early names listed as candidates to take over full-time after this season. But whoever takes over will need to be ready to take on a huge rebuilding process that could likely involve NCAA sanctions.
Oh, and they'll need to be willing to work weekends as well.
