Miyan Williams injury update: Ohio State star running back carted off with leg injury image

First it was TreVeyon Henderson's foot. Now No. 2 Ohio State has another running back injury to worry about with Miyan Williams being carted off the field toward the end of the first half with an apparent leg injury against Indiana.

Williams, who was having a monster game with 15 carries and 147 yards (47 coming on a touchdown run in second quarter), gave Ohio State fans the "O-H" sign on the way out while sitting up, which will undoubtedly be a reassuring sign.

On the year, Williams has been outstanding. Coming into Saturday he had 102 carries for 636 yards (6.2 yards per carry) and 12 touchdowns. His reliability has been a boon for Ohio State in closing games.

Fox's Jenny Taft later reported Williams was out for the rest of the game against Indiana. Now, however, Ohio State's matchup with No. 3 Michigan in two weeks looms larger than ever. If Henderson is less than 100 percent and Williams is out, OSU's life against the Wolverines gets far more difficult.

Williams entered this game battered as well.
