We're halfway through the 2018 college football season, and it's time to pick Sporting News' midseason All-American team.  

The offense features three Alabama players, including quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, receiver Jerry Jeudy and tackle Jonah Williams. The defense is more spread out, featuring Notre Dame defensive lineman Jerry Tillery and Clemson's Clelin Ferrell. We recognized South Florida returner Terrence Horne, too, despite the face he is out for the season with a torn ACL.

The Crimson Tide lead all teams on SN's midseason All-Americans with four total selections, including safety Deionte Thompson. Clemson came in second with three represented players. Several teams also have two players on this list in Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Georgia and LSU.
