Michigan canceled Saturday's spring game because of a high chance of rain of thunderstorms this weekend, the school announced on Wednesday.
According to the university, the game will not be rescheduled because of the start of finals next week. Michigan finished 8-5 last season and will look to improve on that record in Jim Harbaugh's fourth season with the program.

"We made a decision that was in the best interest of our fans, student-athletes and volunteer staff needed to organize this event," Harbaugh said in the release.
Michigan fans will have to wait to get a look at Shea Patterson, the Ole Miss transfer, who has applied for a waiver with the NCAA to play right away.
The Wolverines aren't the only program to cancel their 2018 spring game: West Virginia, Iowa State and Wisconsin have canceled theirs as well, all due to weather conditions.
