Fall is finally here, and that means Michigan and Michigan State play football.
To be honest, this season's matchup is less about what's being done on the field and more about the coaching drama.
Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverine coaching staff is yet again under investigation by the NCAA. This time, for sign-stealing. While sign-stealing is technically not a violation in college football, sending individuals to scout future teams in-person is not allowed.
It's the third investigation into Michigan in 2023. Harbaugh was suspended for three games at the beginning of the season for recruiting violations, and OC Matt Weiss was fired in January inappropriate access on university computers.

Mel Tucker, now former-head coach for the Spartans, was under investigation for sexual harassment in September. He has since been fired. Harlon Barnett took over as Michigan State's coach, but unfortunately has not been very successful. The Spartans are on a four-game losing streak beginning with Washington, which was Barnett's first game as head coach.
This is a bitter Big Ten rivalry. Last year, we saw a post-game fight in the tunnel. Eight Spartans were suspended for an attack against a Michigan player. One player, Khary Crump, was legally charged with two misdemeanor charges and was given a year of probation and community service. He was suspended for eight games this season.
Fingers crossed we don't see any assaults this time in East Lansing.
