Interestingly enough, Chase left some room for interpretation as to where he will play in 2021. He doesn't explicitly say he's declaring for the 2021 NFL Drafts, as earlier reports indicated, just that he hopes to return to the field in 2021. There's no specificity on what field that is.

Chase, one of the nation's top receivers, is eligible to declare for the 2021 NFL Draft, where he is projected to be a first-round selection, with some saying he may be a top-five pick.
Chase was a dominant receiving force for the 2019 national championship-winning Tigers squad, grabbing 20 touchdowns and amassing 1,780 yards as one of Joe Burrow's primary targets. Both marks are school records, while his 20 TDs is an SEC record.
Chase was awarded the Biletnikoff Award as the nation's best receiver.
Chase's running mate Justin Jefferson was selected in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings. Burrow was selected first overall.
The SEC is planning to play its schedule as intended in 2020, starting the season in late September. The Big Ten and Pac-12 both postponed their respective seasons in August.
