It's a battle of college football heavyweights as No. 4 Georgia and No. 2 LSU meet in the SEC championship game on Saturday in Atlanta.
After suffering an early-season setback with a home loss to South Carolina in October, Georgia (11-1, 7-1 SEC) has managed to bounce back with wins over Florida and Auburn. Georgia also looks to avenge its loss in last season's SEC championship game to Alabama where a now-infamous fake punt doomed the Bulldogs' chances at the playoff.
The Bulldogs can all but guarantee themselves a spot in the College Football Playoff with a win on Saturday, but taking down the Tigers is a tall task.

LSU (12-0, 8-0 SEC) has been one of the best teams all season. Led by Heisman Trophy contender Joe Burrow at quarterback, the Tigers have not only won this season, but done it in a dominating fashion. While LSU teams of years past have prided themselves on defense, this year's team has broken the mold and become one of the nation's best offenses.
Burrow's posted a 93.4 QBR this season while throwing for 4,366 yards, 44 touchdowns and six interceptions. He shattered the LSU single-season passing touchdown record of 28 earlier in the season and may very well eclipse 50 if the Tigers are able to go the distance.
It goes without saying that a win on Saturday solidifies LSU's place in the CFP, but a loss could create a predicament for the selection committee. The Tigers would be a one-loss team, but are they still worthy of a playoff berth over a one-loss Utah team or a one-loss Baylor or Oklahoma? It remains to be seen.
