“There’s more to come,” Orgeron told reporters during his postgame press conference. “Joe’s a fantastic player. We have a fantastic coach in Steve Ensminger. We have a great plan. As long as we can protect the quarterback, we’re going to make big plays at LSU.”

LSU improved to 4-0 with the victory and Burrow has slowly crept his way into the Heisman conversation.
"We handled some adversity today," Burrow told SEC Network after the game against Vanderbilt. "We scored when we needed to score. They were scoring points on offense. We had a couple of poor turnovers that gave them some points, so we need to fix that. But, overall, I think it was a good day."

Burrow is in his second year as LSU's starter after transferring from Ohio State following the 2017 season.
The Tigers will have a bye week before hosting Utah State on Oct. 5.
