Florida Atlantic football coach Lane Kiffin impressed a high school team with a trip to the maternity ward, where a prospect had recently become a father.
Lake Weir High School coach Knox Robinson on Wednesday tweeted a picture of Kiffin in the hospital, writing the visit was appreciated. Kiffin retweeted a story referencing the visit Wednesday evening.

Kiffin, who has coached the past two seasons at FAU, likely is well aware of the lengths needed to go to successfully recruit in a hotbed like Florida. The state boasts three of 247Sports' top 10 recruits for the Class of 2019, including the No. 1 recruit in the class, pass-rusher Nolan Smith.
FAU has the 79th-best 2019 recruiting class and the third-best in Conference USA according to 247Sports. Perhaps more trips to the maternity ward can tilt the scales in Kiffin's favor.
