Lane Kiffin continues to remain a savage on Twitter.
The Florida Atlantic coach tweeted out a "blind refs" meme on Saturday, tagging the official Conference USA Twitter account. So yeah, it seems he was none too pleased with the officiating in FAU's 36-31 loss to Marshall on Friday.

In so doing, Kiffin may have attempted to avoid a fine for negatively commenting on the officiating crew. Some of his replies on Twitter seem to suggest that was his line of thinking:
Freedom of tweet 😂

Unfortunately for him, the conference fined him $5,000 for violating the league's sportsmanship policy, per Brett McMurphy:

The Owls had nine penalties worth 90 yards called on them in the Friday night loss to Marshall. It was apparently bad enough to warrant Kiffin's Twitter shenanigans, but his team's cause wasn't helped by the fact it gave up 460 yards to the Thundering Herd, including 220 rushing yards to running back Brendan Knox. He also ran for two touchdowns, including the go-ahead score with 36 seconds remaining.
With the loss, FAU drops to 4-3 overall and 2-1 in C-USA play.
