No. 6 Georgia and No. 9 Kentucky face off in a Week 10 matchup that has the SEC Championship game on the line. Both teams are coming off big SEC East wins in Week 9. Georgia defeated Florida 36-17, meanwhile, Kentucky just pulled out the victory over Missouri, 15-14.
The Bulldogs offense has been dominant all season, averaging 38 points and 458 yards per game. Quarterback Jake Fromm has thrown for 1,649 yards and 16 touchdowns through eight games. Three of those touchdowns came in Week 9 against the Gators.
On the other side of the field, the Wildcats' defense enters Saturday's contest tied with Clemson as the top-scoring defense in the country. Kentucky didn't allow Missouri to get a single first down during the second half of its game in Week 9, and have yet to give up more than 20 points this season.
The Bulldogs and the Wildcats both sit at the top of the SEC East standings with identical 5-1 conference and 7-1 overall records. A loss in Saturday's game will eliminate one of these teams from College Playoff contentions.
