Friday night's game between Boise State and Colorado State was a 56-28 blowout. So most viewers likely weren't watching near the end when ESPN announcer Kelly Stouffer had one of the weirdest commentaries we've ever heard.
Stouffer took a very strong interest in Cowboy Kohl, Boise State's tee dog. Kohl is a good boy who fetches the tee after Broncos kickoffs, but Stouffer seemed more interested in introducing him to his own white lab for ... reasons.

The conversation began with three minutes left in the game, and got off to a bad start.
Stouffer: Can we talk about Cowboy Kohl for a minute?
Broadcast partner Jason Benetti: The tee-retrieving dog?
Stouffer: Yeah ... I have a white lab.
Sideline reporter Olivia Dekker: Oh no.
Dekker clearly knew where this conversation was going, and tried to it end before Stouffer went too far. Her efforts failed, and we got to listen to Stouffer's hypothetical plan to introduce Kohl to his own white lab, which Stouffer claims is "beautiful."

"That would be a beautiful combination if we could get it to happen," Stouffer says, followed by complete silence.
Eventually, Benetti said, "Your dog needs to come retrieve its father out of the booth and take the headset from him."
Stouffer's exchange only lasted two minutes, but it felt like an eternity. Why is he so adamant about his dog mating with Kohl? Leave Kohl alone and leave him to his tee retrieving duties. He doesn't have time for a relationship right now.
