Jordan Addison injury update: USC WR exits game with knee injury vs. Utah image

USC receiver Jordan Addison exited the No. 7 Trojans' Pac-12 game vs. No. 20 Utah on Saturday with an apparent lower-leg in the third quarter.

The injury occurred when Addison took handoff on a reverse and was brought down with an awkward tackle by Utah safety R.J. Hubert. Addison appeared to plant awkwardly on his right knee.

He was on the ground for several moments before exiting the field.

Addison was treated on the sideline and then reportedly walked around. He eventually left the game and headed toward the Trojans' locker room.

At the time of his injury, Addison had seven receptions for 106 yards and a score, plus two rushes for 27 yards.

The 2021 Biletnikoff Award winner — and one of the most coveted transfers in the portal ahead of the 2022 season — entered Saturday's game with 32 receptions for 479 yards and six touchdowns.

Addison is considered one of the top prospects in the 2023 NFL Draft. The Sporting News' Vinnie Iyer, in his mock draft, has the receiver being taken 10th overall by the Seahawks. Addison is also listed as the first receiver to come off the board.

The USC receiver was later seen on the Trojans' sideline in street clothes sporting clutches:
