Political commentator and LSU fan James Carville appeared on ESPN's "College GameDay" on Saturday and shared his conspiracy regarding the SEC.

Carville was upset about the first-half suspension of LSU linebacker Devin White in the big matchup vs. No. 1 Alabama. According to him, star players from Tennessee, Missouri and Texas A&M have all missed time in vs. Alabama, and he believes it's an SEC conspiracy to benefit the Tide.

Although he doesn't mention SEC commissioner Greg Sankey by name in the clip, his shirt was clearly painting a different picture. Carville's shirt, repping LSU's team colors, read in part, "Greg Sankey (loves) Alabama."

A few hours later, ESPN issued an apology to Sankey for the comments Carville made.

“While appearing as a guest on ESPN College GameDay earlier today, James Carville offered his thoughts on SEC commissioner Greg Sankey. As we regularly demonstrate here on ESPN, diverse opinions are encouraged. However, these actions were over the top and we would like to apologize to commissioner Sankey for that," an anchorman stated.

This isn't the first time Carville has made similar comments. He penned a guest column to the Advocate (Baton Rouge, La.), claiming collusion between Alabama and the SEC. He backed up his comments made similar comments about the SEC and Sankey on Friday, telling TMZ, "I would trust the Saudi government more than I'd trust the SEC. He (White) is our best player we got, no reason he shouldn't be playing."
