Donald Trump hosted the LSU football team on Friday after winning the College Football Playoff national championship earlier in the week.

Coach Ed Orgeron and star quarterback Joe Burrow were in attendance as Trump congratulated the Tigers on their remarkable season. LSU went 15-0 while setting school and conference records with their dominant offense. LSU finished with seven wins against AP top 10 teams and four wins against AP top five teams.

Trump had many comments about LSU's success, but couldn't resist talking about himself at moments as well. One of those comments was about the impeachment trial he's currently facing.

While talking about the Oval Office and pictures of "some bad" presidents of the past, Trump took a moment to praise himself.

"They got a good one now," he said. "Even though they're trying to impeach the son of a b—, can you believe that?"

After Trump's speech, Burrow handed him a football jersey that had "Trump" on the nameplate along with the No. 45.

Trump joked he initially thought Burrow was going to hand him the Heisman trophy.

Trump gave LSU high praise, saying in part, "This LSU team will long be remembered as one of the greatest in college football history."
