If you've turned on a television or driven around recently, you're likely aware that it's election season. President Joe Biden's presidential term is coming to an end, and this November, we will be electing the next president of the United States.
Former President Donald Trump will be running as the Republican nominee. With two months before the election, Trump is on the campaign trail drumming up support.
While not a political event or a rally, Trump is expected to attend Saturday's huge college football game between Georgia and Alabama.
The Sporting News has you covered for all the latest updates on whether or not the former president is in attendance at the game.
Is Donald Trump at Alabama vs. Georgia today?
Earlier in September, Trump said that he would attend the game. That was confirmed on Saturday night, when the former president was shown on the video board at Bryant-Denny Stadium and received a loud ovation.

Video showed Trump greeting fans in the concourse before moving to his suite with musician Kid Rock and Alabama Sen. Tommy Tuberville, who coached in the SEC.
Why is Donald Trump at Alabama vs. Georgia?
It's nothing new for Trump to attend sporting events. He has long gone to football games, boxing matches, and the like, long before he was elected president in 2016.
In this particular instance, it's a combination of things. For one, he should hear plenty of support in Alabama, traditionally a strong red state. For another, there will be a lot of eyes on this game, including many eyes in the swing state of Georgia.
Donald Trump attending sports events timeline
Trump is no stranger to attending sporting events. He has been spotted at wrestling events, baseball games, and plenty of football games, both professionally and at the college level.
The former president was in attendance for Super Bowl XXVI as the Buffalo Bills took on the then-Washington Redskins. Trump threw out the first pitch at a New York Yankees game in 2004. He was involved in a WWE storyline that culminated with his shaving Vince McMahon's head at WrestleMania in 2007.
Trump is a big boxing and mixed martial arts fan. He watched the Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao fight in 2015 and has attended several UFC PPVs. After being elected President in the fall of 2016, he attended that year's Army-Navy game.
This won't be Trump's first time watching Georgia and Alabama play. He attended the 2018 CFP National Championship game between these teams, which saw Alabama defeat Georgia 26-23 in overtime. Trump attended Game 5 of the 2019 World Series and was notably booed by fans in Washington.
The former president also attended an LSU-Alabama game in Tuscaloosa in 2019, the first time a sitting president had attended a Crimson Tide game. Trump was in person to watch the 2024 Coca-Cola 600 last May, as well.
