Deion Sanders and FSU coach Willie Taggart are reportedly discussing a coaching role for "Prime Time," according to Noles247Sports.
According to 247Sports sources close to the situation, both have expressed mutual interest in Sanders coming on as FSU's defensive backs coach.

Taggart on Wednesday posted a photo of him and Sanders ahead of the Seminoles' Independence Bowl matchup against Southern Miss.
It was great catching up with the G.O.A.T. @DeionSanders 😳😳😳 Go Noles!🍢🍢 #DoSomething pic.twitter.com/l8cTG5OWyL

Sanders was also on hand for the Independence Bowl, where he could be seen on the sidelines. When asked about the possibility of him coming back to help coach the Seminoles, he responded by saying, "You never know. I've been known to make big plays with these colors on. That's all I'm going to say."
Sanders would immediately bring an excitement factor to FSU, which could be massively beneficial on the recruiting trail. "Prime Time" revolutionized the way the defensive back was position was played when he was at FSU from 1985-88, where he was a unanimous All-American in 1987 and '88. He was also a two-time Super Bowl winner and eight-time first-team All-Pro selection in the NFL.
Although he hasn't coached at the college level, he did coach at Prime Prep Academy from 2012-15 and has also coached the Under Armour All-American Game. It will definitely be worth keeping an eye on whether he comes back to Tallahassee.
