Sporting News' Week 6 bowl projections are here, and it features the usual combination of Clemson, Alabama, Oklahoma and Ohio State in our projected College Football Playoff field.
That said, a shakeup has shifted in our projected end-of-year Playoff matchups. Sporting News now has Alabama vs. Oklahoma in the Peach Bowl, which would give the people what they want with quarterbacks Tua Tagovailoa and Jalen Hurts. We have Clemson and Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl in a rematch from the 2016 season. The rest of our New Year's Day Six projections remain the same.

The 2019 college postseason schedule features 40 bowl games between FBS teams, with the finale at the national title game on Jan. 13 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. This year's semifinal games will be on Dec. 28.
