College football scores: Complete results, highlights from Week 1's top 25 games image

The first normal week of college football is here since the end of the 2019 season. And what better weekend to have it than Week 1?

Each of the preseason AP Top 25 teams play this weekend, with action taking place all the way from Thursday through Sunday. No. 4 Ohio State and No. 10 North Carolina already got their games in on Thursday and Friday, respectively, but look for excellent matchups on Saturday in No. 19 Penn State at No. 12 Wisconsin, No. 1 Alabama vs. No. 14 Miami in Atlanta and No. 3 Clemson vs. No. 5 Georgia in the biggest game of the weekend.

It's never too early to overreact to huge games, and college football's opening weekend is chock-full of them, even outside those matchups. College Football Playoff contenders, Heisman candidates and national championship challengers will all reveal themselves this week, in one way or another.

Sporting News has you covered on how to watch all of it in Week 1's top-25 action:
