It's Week 4 in college football, and it has a lot more to offer than a weekend in which no top-25 teams played each other.

This week has three such games in No. 11 Michigan at No. 13 Wisconsin (noon, FOX) and a CBS doubleheader with No. 8 Auburn at No. 17 Texas A&M (3:30 p.m.) and No. 7 Notre Dame at No. 3 Georgia (8 p.m.).

Those games promise to be exciting, but other enticing matchups include Oklahoma State at No. 12 Texas and a meeting between No. 16 Oregon and Stanford. And considering USC upset No. 10 Utah on Friday, there's no telling what could happen in those games or others.

Below are scores, highlights and other updates from across the college football landscape.

Live updates, highlights from today's NCAA football games

12:12 a.m.: Those are some impressive stats from Andrew Gordon:

Midnight: More from Wazzu:

11:52 p.m.: UCLA desperately trying to get its first win of the season.

11:48 p.m.: Washington State lighting it up in #Pac12AfterDark.

1:47 p.m.: Bulldogs hold! Hell of a game and tremendous effort by Notre Dame.

11:30 p.m.: Notre Dame refuses to go down easy!

11:25 p.m.: Lots of action in the Colorado-Arizona State game, but the Buffaloes retake the lead.

11:18 p.m.: A lot to unpack here — all you need to know is Texas has the ball with 1:30, up 36-30 over Oklahoma State.

11:10 p.m.: A timely interception by the defense puts Georgia squarely in control of this one.

11:07 p.m.: Pac-12 teams can't win for losing.

11:01 p.m.: Fromm with his first touchdown of the day makes it 20-10 Georgia!

10:54 p.m.: Considering No. 10 Utah just lost to unranked USC, the Pac-12 might want its undefeated teams to remain as such. UCLA not helping.

10:53 p.m.: Some tough yards gives Texas a 36-13 lead!

10:41 p.m.: Keaontay Ingram would. Not. Be. Denied!

10:38 p.m.: Mike Gundy's no Riverboat Gambler.

10:28 p.m.: Notre Dame's defense out here making plays.

10:26 p.m.: This came after a Texas goal-line stand. Defense keeping the game close.

10:08 p.m.: A curious sequence of events here that gave Georgia the ball and led to a game-tying field goal.

10:01 p.m.: A little trickeration gives Texas the 28-23 lead over Oklahoma State.

10:01 p.m.: Virginia is up over ODU!

9:46 p.m.: Beatdown in Palo Alto, and the reason is Justin Herbert.

9:38 p.m.: D'Andre Swift ties it 7-all!

9:26 p.m.: Humdinger in Austin!

9:15 p.m.: Virginia closing the gap on Old Dominion (something we never thought we'd write, but here we are):

9:07 p.m.: Cole Kmet snags the first touchdown of this UGA-ND game!

9:06 p.m.: That's a woeful bust in coverage for Oklahoma State and it costs the Cowboys as Texas takes a 21-13 lead.

8:58 p.m.: Got us a good one brewing in Austin — it's 14-13 Texas after this Spencer Sanders run:

8:55 p.m.: Is that ... defense? In a Big 12 game?!

8:41 p.m.: Luck of the Irish nearly pulled through there.

8:32 p.m.: Oklahoma State's Spencer Sanders with the bad INT, followed up by a nice touchdown pass from Texas' Sam Ehlinger. Longhorns leading 14-3.

8:15 p.m.: What is it with Old Dominion and Virginia/Tech? Either way Bryce Perkins gets the Commodores on the board.

8:12 p.m.: How about those LED lights in Samford Stadium?

8:08 p.m.: What a throw-and-catch by Herbert and Jacob Breeland! That makes it 14-3 Oregon over Stanford.

7:43 p.m.: On-target by Justin Herbert and nice run by Jaylon Redd makes it 7-3 Oregon.

7:21 p.m.: This back-and-forth game just will not stop. Pitt takes the lead with 56 seconds remaining.

7:19 p.m.: SMU holds on late to stun TCU.

7:05 p.m.: Texas A&M moves to just one score away from Auburn with fewer than three minutes left.

6:40 p.m.: Texas A&M scores its first touchdown. Auburn responds.

6:22 p.m.: This game is getting interesting in College Station. Now the Aggies trail only by 11.

6:17 p.m.: What a throw by Malik Cunningham. What a catch by Dez Fitzpatrick. Louisville takes teh 24-21 lead against Florida State.

6:14 p.m.: TCU isn't out of it just yet. Leaping grab by Pro Wells pulls the Horned Frogs to within a score of SMU.

6:11 p.m.: UCF entered as 10-point favorites against Pitt. Now, after trailing by 21, they are leading by 10 points.

6:05 p.m.: The second-stringers are in for Ohio State, but it doesn't seem to matter. They're still trouncing Miami (Ohio).

6:00 p.m.: Pitt led this game 21-0 with 9:10 left in the second quarter. UCF has since scored 24 points. The latest coming on this 87-yard punt return.

5:53 p.m.: UCF is making a comeback. This 65-yard pass set up a 10-yard touchdown for the Knights.

5:51 p.m.: Another Washington touchdown. This time on special teams for the Huskies.

5:42 p.m.: Auburn made sure Texas A&M paid for that fumble.

5:36 p.m.: This is not exactly how you want to get back in this game if you're Texas A&M.

5:27 p.m.: Shane Buechele has SMU leading TCU by two touchdowns at the half. Here's the latest score by the Mustangs.

5:12 p.m.: Justin Fields with a laser to Binjimen Victor. This is just getting out of hand.

5:08 p.m.: Breaking the other way? Pass thrown behind him? No problem for Jhamon Ausbon.

5:04 p.m.: Miami (Ohio) was winning at one point in this game. You wouldn't be able to tell by the score.

5:01 p.m.: UCF makes Pitt pay for the fumble, cashing in on a touchdown to bring the score to 21-7.

5:00 p.m.: TCU is creeping back into the game. They now trail the Mustangs by only four points.

4:55 p.m.: You just cannot stop Justin Fields on his way to the end zone. That's the second rushing touchdown and third total touchdown for the Ohio State QB.

4:54 p.m.: Kylin Hall soars through the air four yards into the end zone to extend Mississippi State's lead.

4:50 p.m.: Uh oh. No. 15 UCF is in some trouble. Punt blocked and returned for a touchdown gives Pitt a 21-point lead.

4:31 p.m.: Ohio State only had a two-point lead. Now make that a nine-point lead.

4:29 p.m.: Pitt giving UCF fans a scare. The Panthers are now up 14-0 on the 15-ranked Knights.

4:21 p.m.: Joey Gatewood — not Bo Nix — with the touchdown pass for Auburn to give the Tigers an early two-score lead.

4:16 p.m.: Don't worry, Buckeye fans. Ohio State leads again 7-5.

4:08 p.m.: Jacob Eason showing off the arm to put Washington up 14-3 on the Cougars.

3:55 p.m.: Just as everyone expected: Miami (Ohio) is the first to score with a safety against Ohio State.

3:51 p.m.: That didn't take long. Anthony Schwartz takes the handoff 57 yards to the house to put Auburn up 7-0.

3:39 p.m.: Wisconsin fans were letting the Wolverines hear it after Michigan was rolled over by the Badgers.

3:19 p.m.: Was it a touchdown catch? The refs say no, and Ole Miss can't punch it in on the QB sneak to lose the game.

3:11 p.m.: Things are getting interesting in Oxford, Mississippi. The Golden Bears' lead is down to just eight.

3:03 p.m.: It's getting ugly in Nashville. Micah Baskerville blocks a punt and takes it into the end zone for a 59-24 LSU lead.

2:53 p.m.: Burrow and LSU pouring it on. He's 23 of 30 for 394 yards and six touchdowns, by the way.

2:42 p.m.: There's no more room in the game for plays like this.

2:40 p.m.: Oh, no. That looks like it hurt. Chase Garbers obviously out for now.

2:38 p.m.: What a sequence of events in the LSU-Vandy game (Tigers lead 45-24):

2:29 p.m.: It's 35-0 Wisconsin. Ouch.

2:24 p.m.: Florida's in good hands with this Trask guy. It's 24-3 Florida.

2:18 p.m.: Now 28-13 Cal. Are the Golden Bears ... good?

2:06 p.m.: Alabama can score on the ground too! Brian Robinson with the 6-yard touchdown run to make it 42-7 Tide.

2:03 p.m.: Chase Garbers making it 21-13 Cal over Ole Miss.

2 p.m.: A 51-yard touchdown reception for Ja'Marr Chase makes it 38-17 LSU. Guess this is the Tigers' offense now.

1:56 p.m.: Lamical Perine makes it 17-0 Florida with this 1-yard plunge.

1:49 p.m.: Tagovailoa scores his customary second-half touchdown, this time a 20-yard connection with Jeudy, to make it 35-7 Alabama. Assuming he's done for the day, he'll finish 16 of 20 for 290 yards and five touchdowns.

1:36 p.m.: You know it's over when the freshman QB's doing stuff like this. Wisconsin up 28-0 off the Jack Coan run.

1:30 p.m.: Um, Adrian Magee (left guard) has a little dog in him.

1:26 p.m.: A mauling. Michigan is out of its league in this one.

1:17 p.m.: Florida has two interceptions on Tennessee's Jarrett Guarantano, who is struggling mightily in this one.

1:15 p.m.: Wisconsin's up 21-0 thanks in part to the Badgers going 3 of 3 on fourth down. Here's one of them.

1:04 p.m.: And No. 23 Cal regains the lead on this 13-yard connection between Chase Garber and Christopher Brown Jr.

12:59 p.m.: It's a 28-point first quarter for LSU after this touchdown. Imagine the offensive output when LSU plays Alabama on Nov. 9.

12:54 p.m.: And now the Biletnikoff winner gets a score. Tagovailoa to Jerry Jeudy for a 17-yard touchdown. He has three receptions for 32 yards and a score, while Tagovailoa is 12 of 13 for 237 yards and four touchdowns. (Also, peep the lost shoe on the Southern Miss DB).

12:48 p.m.: And now Najee Harris gives Alabama another touchdown. It's 21-0 off his 5-yard catch out of the backfield.

12:45 p.m.: Jonathan Taylor with a 72-yard touchdown run to make it 14-0 Wisconsin! He now has 12 carries for 143 yards and two touchdowns.

12:42 p.m.: Oh, Tennessee. In all seriousness, the Vols must capitalize on these opportunities when they're available.

12:40 p.m.: Clyde Edwards-Helaire makes it 21-7 LSU with this 9-yard touchdown. He has 62 yards and a score off four carries.

12:40 p.m.: Michigan's Ronnie Bell is a dude.

12:37: Ole Miss ties it at 7 with No. 23 Cal on this 1-yard run by Matt Corral:

12:34 p.m.: Did we mention LSU has a pass game now? A 64-yard touchdown connection betwen Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase makes it 14-7 LSU:

12:30 p.m.: Disaster for Michigan. The Wolverines get inside the Wisconsin 10 with a 68-yard connection between Shea Patterson and Ronnie Bell, but a second-and-goal fumble by Ben Mason gives Wisconsin the ball back.

12: 27 p.m.: Tagovailoa to Ruggs again. He now has three catches for 131 yards and two touchdowns. Tua Tagovailoa is 4 for 4 with 128 yards and two scores.

2:21 p.m.: No. 4 LSU's ties it 7-all with a 4-yard connection between Joe Burrow and Justin Jefferson.

12:20 p.m.: Can't forget Cal's ranked either. The Golden Bears are up 7-0 because, well, you can't get more open than this:

12:17 p.m.: And Wisconsin's on the board first with a 1-yard run from Jonathan Taylor. He has eight carries for 58 yards so far, including a long of 18.

12:16 p.m.: Vanderbilt up 7-0 on LSU, just like everyone predicted. Eight plays and 75 yards for the Commodores, capped by a 5-yard run by Ke'Shawn Vaughn.

12:10 p.m.: This is a very on-brand image for both teams.

12:07 p.m.: Tua to Henry Ruggs III for a 45-yard touchdown. That's Ruggs' fourth of the season and Tagovailoa's 13th passing touchdown.

12:03 p.m.: And No. 9 Florida marches right down the field for a game-opening touchdown. Kyle Trask is 2 for 2 through the air for 62 yards, including a 19-yard touchdown to Kyle Pitts.

Noon: Any surprise here?
